About Helen
A therapist who truly listens
I'm Helen, a qualified counsellor and coach specialising in anxiety, stress, and emotional wellbeing. I work with adults online and in person from my practice at Peckham Levels in South East London.
My background
Why I became a therapist
I came to therapy after experiencing anxiety myself, and I know first-hand how overwhelming it can feel when your mind won't slow down. That personal experience is what drew me to this work — I wanted to offer the kind of support I once needed.
I trained as an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches — including CBT, person-centred therapy, and coaching — to tailor sessions to each individual. There is no one-size-fits-all in therapy, and I take time to understand what will work best for you.
I also have specialist experience supporting clients with ADHD and AuDHD, helping them understand how their neurodivergence intersects with anxiety and develop practical strategies that fit their lives.

How I work
Warm, collaborative, and practical
My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. Sessions are a space where you can speak freely, explore what is holding you back, and begin to build a different relationship with your thoughts and feelings.
I offer both counselling and coaching, and often weave the two together — counselling to explore the roots of anxiety, and coaching to build practical tools and confidence for everyday life.
